Post-Pig Thoughts

WHEW! What a whirlwind April and first week of May! I’m still catching my breath, but I wanted to share my “Top 5” from this incredible season:

• 🎥 4 TV interviews (2 in-studio, 2 in the field)

• 🍪 4 dozen cookies shared

• 📦 300+ books sold

• 🏃‍♀️ 3 days of regular Expo

• 🏗️ 2 Expo setups & breakdowns

• 🎉 2 days of Early Expo

• ❤️ 1 unforgettable experience

I’m beyond humbled and amazed by the support ABC, Run With Me has received. What started as a small idea turned into something that not only filled a niche—but also reignited my love for the Pig, confirmed that Cincinnati’s running community is second to none, and reminded me that if you dare to dream big… dreams really do come true.

Seeing this book in the hands of families, on the shelves of small shops, and featured around my city has been surreal. As a born-and-bred Cincinnatian and longtime member of the Pig community, I’m proud to bring this story to life—not just for readers, but for my own children. I want them (and all kiddos!) to see that anything is possible with creativity, grit, and a whole lot of heart.

Thank you to every person who smiled, gasped, or shared a kind word at the Expos. Thank you to the shops that took a chance on a new author. Thank you to my running community—especially Queen City and Tri-State—for giving me space to share this dream.
